At StorTown giving back to our community is a priority. We believe that helping those in need is essential. It is for this reason that we started our own StorTown Cares initiative, that looks at distributing unwanted goods and helping out communities that really need it.
Last year StorTown Cares supported the Siyajabula Creche in the Embo Valley by collecting items for Christmas boxes as well as gathering stationary, chairs and tables from the public to help better the living environment for these children. All the donations we received where put to good use and the smile on the children’s faces made the whole experience so worthwhile!
On the 6th of March Anthony Gibbs and Jennifer van Deventer on behalf of StorTown Cares supported the CANSA Shavathon hosted by Chilli Source Design in Kloof. Anthony bravely shaved his hair and Jennifer sprayed her hair in honour of all cancer fighters and survivors. It was a great day with great company!
Recently StorTown Cares shared the love by collecting unused goods that were in great condition and donated them to children in need. A big thank you to everyone who hopped on board and got involved in this great initiative all your efforts are greatly appreciated.
