Here at StorTown, 2013 is going to be one of our biggest years yet. I sit at my desk contemplating 2013 and what is in store for the self-storage industry and StorTown. The first thing that comes to mind is how amazing the self-storage industry is and how fast it is growing.
Our third generation self storage in Durban at 200 Magawaza Maphahalala (previously Gale) Street has been well received as almost all our self storage units are rented. We are aiming for completion of the entire 350 storage units by the end of 2013 and to have the building fully branded.
StorTown self-storage has a few more surprises lined up for 2013. We will let you know about the new StorTown developments as soon as they are confirmed. You never know, a StorTown self-storage could be opening near you soon!
StorTown recently started its campaign in the Inanda Valley, KwaZulu Natal. All unwanted goods from our tenants, which can be donated, is collected at our StorTown self-storage sites. We in turn distribute these goods to one of three crèches StorTown has aligned with for 2013. We will update you throughout the year with progress of this amazing initiative. Already this year we have almost filled a 5m by 3m self-storage unit at StorTown, full of toys, furniture and clothes for these crèches. Thank you for your generosity!
Once again this year StorTown self-storage will be sponsoring the Curro / HCA annual winter fair and we hope to see you visit our yellow tea garden.
Well, that is a brief look at 2013 from us at StorTown self-storage.
We wish you a great 2013.
